Description

You will design, configure, and support complex network infrastructures within a software engineering environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and TACLANES.
• Implement high-speed, scalable, and fault-tolerant WAN/LAN designs.
• Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management for front- and back-end connectivity.
• Manage network administration tasks including installations, debugging, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Set up proactive monitoring for all network devices, services, and servers to ensure high availability and SLAs.

Required Skills

• US Citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 10 years of experience in network engineering or related fields.
• Extensive experience with Cisco and Palo Alto hardware, software, and technology products.
• Deep understanding of IP subnetting and routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software.
• Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and server virtualization including VMware vSphere, Microsoft, and CITRIX.
• Knowledge of NIST guidelines, federal security regulations, and CNSN No. 1253.
• Expertise in deploying and managing LAN/WLAN/MAN/WAN infrastructures.
• CCNAs, CCDA, or CCDP certification (or higher).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps solutions and associated management tools.
• Experience leading the design and integration of enterprise-level technical and service management solutions.
