Description

You will lead the migration from Cisco 8540 to Cisco 9800 Wireless Controllers and maintain enterprise wireless infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate wireless infrastructure from Cisco 8540 to Cisco 9800 controllers.
• Configure wireless access points, VLANs, SSIDs, and security policies.
• Implement RF management, guest access, and seamless roaming features.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues and performance degradation.
• Document network topologies, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Deep expertise in Cisco 9800 controller deployment and management.
• Strong background in Cisco 8540 controller operations.
• Proficiency in Wi-Fi design, RF principles, and site surveys.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
• Knowledge of networking protocols: 802.11, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing.
• Experience configuring WPA2/WPA3 and 802.1X security protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with interference mitigation and advanced RF troubleshooting.
