Description

Provide technical support and network engineering for Google Cloud Platform environments. Administer and maintain GCP cloud infrastructure and network services. Configure VPC networking, including VPC Peering, Shared VPC, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Cloud CDN, and GKE Networking. Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance using tools like Iperf, tcpdump, and dig. Automate operational tasks using shell scripting within Unix/Linux environments. Manage networking fundamentals including IP addressing, subnets, CIDR ranges, DNS, and NAT.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain GCP cloud infrastructure and network services.
  • Configure VPC networking, including VPC Peering, Shared VPC, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Cloud CDN, and GKE Networking.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance using tools like Iperf, tcpdump, and dig.
  • Automate operational tasks using shell scripting within Unix/Linux environments.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of Information Technology experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in GCP cloud administration and maintenance.
  • GCP Certification: Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or Professional Cloud Developer.
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux platforms, command line, and shell scripting.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience with Network Troubleshooting tools such as Iperf, tcpdump, and dig.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent, or equivalent progressive experience.
  • Ability to work in shifts.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with GCP IaaS Services and GCP products.
  • Strong analytical and customer interfacing skills.
