Description

You will own the security, maintenance, and modernization of mainframe network infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage mainframe network security, focusing on encryption and cryptography.
• Lead and coordinate mainframe upgrades and modernization projects.
• Maintain and operate systems using z/OS, VTAM, and TCP/IP.
• Apply cryptographic standards and regulatory frameworks such as NIST and ISO.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Expertise in z/OS, VTAM, TCP/IP, IPSec, and APPN.
• Proficiency with mainframe concepts including ICSF and zERT.
• Experience with security frameworks (e.g., CISSP knowledge).
• Familiarity with IBM mainframe environments.
• Ability to script and automate using REXX or Python.
