Key Responsibilities

• Configure and install network devices and services including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and NAC
• Troubleshoot and resolve router, server, telephony, and LAN/WAN issues
• Perform system upgrades and patching of network appliances
• Monitor network resources and maintain availability using tools such as PRTG, Gigamon, and Riverbed
• Implement device hardening standards in accordance with CIS or vendor best practices
• Assist in the implementation of security tools, policies, and procedures
• Maintain network diagrams and documentation to a high standard
• Collaborate with outside vendors and consultants on business continuity planning
• Support a 24x7 on-call schedule with periodic after-hours or weekend availability

Required Skills

• Proven LAN/WAN network administration and troubleshooting experience
• Solid understanding of routing and switching; Juniper and SDWAN experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols: IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS
• Hands-on experience with VLAN technology, trunking, and spanning tree protocol
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls, VPN, ACLs, and security technologies
• Proficiency with monitoring and network analytics tools
• Experience with Microsoft Visio or similar network diagramming tools
