Description

Configure, install, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Configure and install network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and NAC.
• Troubleshoot and resolve router, server, telephony, and LAN/WAN issues to maintain service availability.
• Perform system upgrades and patching of network appliances and implement device hardening standards.
• Monitor network resources using tools such as PRTG, Gigamon, and Riverbed.
• Maintain high-standard network diagrams and documentation, and collaborate with vendors on business continuity planning.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of proven LAN/WAN network administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols: IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, and QoS.
• Hands-on experience with VLAN technology, trunking, and spanning tree protocol.
• Proficiency with Fortinet firewalls, VPN, ACLs, and security technologies.
• Experience with monitoring and network analytics tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio or similar network diagramming tools.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Juniper and SDWAN experience.
• Experience with 24x7 on-call schedules and after-hours availability.
