Manage day-to-day network operations, resolving connectivity, performance, and routing issues within SLA. Own the lifecycle of network hardware, from installation to troubleshooting routers, switches, and access points.
Responsibilities
- Resolve network-related tickets, including downtime, slow performance, and BGP flapping, using Service-Now.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and install network hardware including routers, switches, and access points.
- Perform network performance monitoring, fault analysis, and packet capture/analysis to troubleshoot traffic flow.
- Execute network configuration changes following established change management processes.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, including configuration records and network diagrams.
Required Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in network operations within a diverse enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in Routing and Switching, including SD-WAN.
- Hands-on experience with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.
- Deep understanding of IP protocols (ICMP, UDP, TCP), IP filtering, and firewalling.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 technologies: STP, RSTP, .1q VLANs, VPC, HSRP, and VRRP.
- Experience with MPLS and Quality of Service (QoS).
- Familiarity with Wireless networking (Client and Juniper) and DDIs such as DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (Infoblox, QIP, or Linux-based BIND).
- CCNA certification.

- CCNP, JNCIS-ENT, or JNCIS-SP certifications.
