Description

You will design, implement, and support global LAN/WAN network infrastructure with a focus on security and connectivity.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting for routing loops, asymmetric routing, and STP issues.
• Configure and install VPN, QoS, and security appliances within change management policies.
• Execute system upgrades, patches, and maintain monitoring and capacity planning reports.
• Manage network security configurations using AAA, TACACS+, and RADIUS protocols.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of network engineering experience with CCNP certification.
• Expertise in routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Strong LAN switching skills covering VLAN, VTP, STP, and EtherChannel.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus 9K/7K series (IOS and NX-OS).
• Proficiency in network security: Cisco ASA, IPS, ISE, IPSec/SSL VPN, and 802.1x.
• Experience with SD-WAN (Silver Peak) and Next Gen Firewalls (Cisco Firepower).
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP and application protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Zscaler cloud firewall services.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud environments.
