Description

Manage the implementation and sustainment of network equipment within a datacenter environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and network management tools.
• Manage datacenter operations and overall network infrastructure.
• Develop project documentation including SOPs, project plans, and network diagrams.
• Execute network management, analysis, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Mentor and train junior team members.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT II Baseline certification.
• Professional level CE Certification (e.g., Cisco CCNP, Juniper, Palo Alto, or F5).
• Experience configuring and maintaining switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Proficiency in Data Center Management.
• Experience implementing and maintaining security management strategies.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DISA STIGs.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus (7K, 5K, 2K), Cisco Catalyst, Cisco ACI, and F5 load balancers.
• Proficiency in Ansible, Python, and network automation/scripting.
