Description

You will manage the migration of dealer VPN tunnels from legacy Cisco ASA environments to the new Cisco ASA platform. You will own the end-to-end execution of scheduled cutovers, ensuring minimal disruption to dealer connectivity. Your primary focus is configuring Cisco ASA VPN tunnels, upgrading security postures, and coordinating directly with external dealer contacts to schedule and walkthrough migrations. You will work onsite in Renton, WA, collaborating with a team of six network engineers. Exposure to F5 or Cisco ACI is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Configure and migrate Cisco ASA VPN tunnels between existing and new platforms.
• Execute scheduled migration cutovers independently, managing start-to-finish delivery.
• Upgrade security postures on existing VPN tunnel configurations to meet current standards.
• Interface professionally with PACCAR dealers to coordinate schedules, technical walkthroughs, and issue resolution.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on configuration experience with Cisco ASA.
• Proven ability to manage VPN tunnel configuration and migration projects.
• Strong communication skills for direct customer-facing interactions with external stakeholders.
• Ability to schedule and execute complex migrations without direct supervision.
• Experience working in onsite environments collaborating with engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on configuration experience with F5 load balancers.
• Familiarity with Cisco ACI architectures.
