Network Engineer

Design, deploy, and optimize WAN, LAN, Data Center, and Cloud networks while managing end-to-end infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support ACI fabrics, backbone, and carrier connectivity to ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to minimize downtime and serve as the highest escalation point.
• Implement network automation and scripting for operational efficiency using Python and Ansible.
• Lead network design, implementation, and infrastructure upgrades in collaboration with security and cloud teams.
• Create detailed network diagrams, documentation, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with network devices (NCS/ASR, Arista, Ciena, Aruba, Dell).
• Expertise in routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, and MP-BGP.
• Knowledge of network technologies including VRF, MPLS, SD-WAN, VXLAN, and EVPN.
• Experience with security and VPN technologies: IPSEC, GRE, and MACSEC.
• Understanding of network fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPv4, and IPv6.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking (AWS Direct Connect, GCP Interconnect).
• Proficiency in network automation using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs.

Preferred Skills

• CCNP / CCIE or Arista ACE Certification.
• Experience with ACI, Nexus, or Arista CloudVision.
