Description

You will manage network installation, administration, and documentation for multi-site environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors to diagnose and resolve networking issues.
• Manage installation, maintenance, and support of critical multi-site networks.
• Research and document communications technologies and industry trends.
• Test and inspect deployed communications systems, including copper and fiber.
• Communicate technical details effectively to internal and external customers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data and telecommunications, including system installation and testing.
• 5+ years of experience maintaining and supporting critical, multi-site networks.
• 5+ years of knowledge in wireline and wireless technologies: fiber optics, T1, DS-3, MPLS, cellular (5G, CDMA, TDMA), and VoIP.
• 5+ years of experience with IP networking: TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, subnetting, and routing.
• Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, WAP, and CradlePoint / NetCloud.
• Proficiency with networking tools: Fluke Versiv, netAlly AirCheck G3, netAlly nXG, iperf3, nmap, Wireshark, and traceroute.
• 1 year of experience testing copper and fiber cabling.
• Proficiency in MS Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• 2 years of intermediate experience using Microsoft Visio.
• 2 years of intermediate experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
