Description

You will act as an on-site operational resource providing product-specific expertise to support customer engineering requirements and resolve complex network issues.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware and network problems while tracking JTAC critical (P1/P2) cases through to resolution.
• Act as a change management engineer for Juniper Networks support and development teams.
• Conduct regular network audits to identify and resolve weak points.
• Produce written summary reports regarding equipment status and network problems for the customer.
• Review design and implementation documents to ensure network streamlining.
• Collaborate with the design team to address constraints within the PAT process.

Required Skills

• CCIE or JNCIE-SP certification.
• Over 5 years of experience in a service provider environment.
• Professional knowledge of Routing Protocols including BGP, ISIS, and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with Switching Networks and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in Layer-2 and Layer-3 VPNs and MPLS applications.
• Deep knowledge of Juniper Networks SRX, M-, MX-, and T-series architectures.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Understanding of Fixed and Mobile BB structures and data flow.
• Ability to work 24/7 shifts including mornings, evenings, and nights.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of backbone IP/MPLS infrastructure, IGW, and mobile packet core.
• Experience with Telco Cloud and DataCenters.
