Description

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and install network devices and services including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and NAC
• Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN, router, server, and telephony issues
• Perform system upgrades and patching of network appliances
• Monitor network resources using tools such as PRTG, Gigamon, and Riverbed
• Maintain accurate network diagrams and documentation
• Implement device hardening standards per CIS or vendor best practices
• Assist in implementing security tools, policies, and procedures
• Support routing, switching, and security/VPN technologies in WAN/LAN environments
• Work on escalated Helpdesk tickets and maintain 24x7 on-call availability
• Collaborate with vendors and consultants on business continuity planning

Required Skills

• Proven LAN/WAN network administration and troubleshooting experience
• Solid understanding of routing and switching; Juniper experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of SDWAN technology
• Networking protocols: IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS
• Deep understanding of OSI model and TCP/IP stack
• Experience with VLAN technology, trunking, and spanning tree protocol
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls, VPN, and Access Control Lists
• Proficiency with network monitoring and analytics tools (PRTG, Gigamon, Riverbed)
• Experience with Microsoft Visio or similar network diagramming tools
