What's the Job?

• Manage environmental ownership for perimeter network components, including B2B, internet DMZ, Cloud, and trading/market exchange connectivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams responsible for Global markets, Collaboration, Market Data, compute, Storage, Information Security, and Data Center projects.
• Introduce, communicate, and develop strategic networking technologies to enhance scalability and functionality.
• Lead the lifecycle of new technology implementations from introduction to decommissioning.
• Engineer innovative solutions to meet internal business requirements and own the delivery of multiple concurrent projects of varying scale.

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience in engineering and implementing networking technologies within large enterprise environments, preferably with exposure to the financial sector.
• Deep knowledge of perimeter networks, external connectivity, security standards, cloud connectivity, and data center design principles.
• Understanding of Network Security Architectures, models, authentication schemes, encryption techniques, and standards.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls such as Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
• Proficiency with WAN/LAN topologies, protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, PIM, MPLS), and network hardware including Cisco Routers, Switches, Nexus, and related products
