Description

You will manage environmental ownership for perimeter network components, including B2B, internet DMZ, Cloud, and trading/market exchange connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage perimeter network components across B2B, internet DMZ, Cloud, and market exchange connectivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams covering Global markets, Collaboration, Market Data, compute, Storage, Information Security, and Data Center projects.
• Develop and communicate strategic networking technologies to improve scalability and functionality.
• Lead the full lifecycle of new technology implementations from introduction through decommissioning.
• Engineer solutions to meet internal business requirements and own the delivery of multiple concurrent projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience engineering and implementing networking technologies in large enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of perimeter networks, external connectivity, security standards, cloud connectivity, and data center design.
• Understanding of Network Security Architectures, models, authentication schemes, encryption techniques, and standards.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls.
• Proficiency with WAN/LAN topologies and protocols including Ethernet, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, PIM, and MPLS.
• Experience with Cisco Routers, Switches, and Nexus hardware.
• Experience within the financial sector is preferred.
