Network Engineer

You will own the validation and testing of L2 and L3 networking protocols and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Test networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, QOS, BGP PIC, and BGP LU.
• Use IXIA or SPIRENT traffic generators to create L2 and L3 traffic flows.
• Identify technical issues and gaps, driving resolution with engineering and delivery teams.
• Develop and integrate new technologies into lab pods.
• Maintain validation labs to meet production requirements, including scale and performance testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of networking experience.
• Strong background in L2/L3 testing.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco or non-Cisco routers.
• Knowledge of IOS XR architecture and Cisco SP platforms such as NCS5K, ASR9K, or White Box.
• Proficiency with IXIA or SPIRENT traffic generators.
• CCNP or CCIE certification.
• Bachelor's degree.
