Description

You will design, plan, and coordinate the implementation of network technologies to meet business and growth requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Validate project requirements, define scope, develop schedules, and produce detailed designs for assigned projects.
• Produce work breakdown structures demonstrating how proposed changes will be implemented with minimal service impact.
• Perform analysis and diagnosis of highly sophisticated networking problems, building simulated networks in test labs to resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, generating network configurations and runbooks for deployed solutions.
• Plan and drive complex network upgrades and migrations, including quarterly maintenance events across diverse stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network operations and service optimization within multi-vendor, large-scale, multi-site environments.
• Expertise in WAN circuits and protocols including SR-TE, MPLS, DWDM, and DMVPN.
• Proficiency with dynamic IP Routing protocols: OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, eBGP/BGP, and PIM Multicast.
• Experience with client and network operating systems such as Linux, Windows, Cumulus, Cisco IOS, or Arista OS.
• Knowledge of virtualization and overlay technologies, specifically VxLAN, BGP-MP, and VRFs.
• Hands-on experience with compute virtualization platforms like VMware, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• High-level internetworking problem solving in enterprise and web scale network environments.
• Experience collaborating with vendors on circuit delivery, problem solving, and migrations.
