Description

You will engineer and maintain network infrastructure using Extreme Networks solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Cato network devices and Extreme switches APs.
  • Design, configure, and deploy Extreme Networks solutions across enterprise environments.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for Extreme Networks switches, routers, wireless access points, and management platforms.
  • Lead network upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configuration standards.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in network engineering.
  • Strong knowledge configuring Cato network devices and Extreme switches APs.
  • Expert understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, QoS, and multicast.
  • Experience with Extreme Management Center (XMC), Fabric Connect, and ExtremeCloud IQ.
  • Familiarity with network automation and scripting, specifically Python and Ansible.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and integration with firewalls and NAC solutions.
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise or service provider environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
