Description

You will secure and maintain a global network architecture spanning multiple datacenters. This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement firewall and segmentation platforms to protect against internal and external attacks.
• Identify sensitive network areas and design solutions for effective segmentation.
• Drive network engineering projects from initial design through to integration.
• Troubleshoot critical production issues and security incidents under pressure.
• Analyze technology operations data to identify trends and eliminate recurring incidents.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data center networking and security.
• Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIS, or equivalent certification/capability.
• Extensive experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewall products.
• Expertise in routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.
• Proficiency in VLANs, STP, SPAN, Inter-VLAN routing, and advanced switching.
• In-depth knowledge of DHCP, NTP, HSRP, VRRP, ARP, NAT, ACL, PBR, GRE, IPsec, Remote Access VPN, and DMVPN.
• Strong understanding of network security implementation, DDoS mitigation, and intrusion detection.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux systems and debugging network issues on those platforms.
• Advanced English language skills and ability to participate in an on-call rotation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EVPN or VXLAN on Arista or Juniper products.
• Experience with public cloud networking in GCP, AWS, Azure, or OCI.
• Proficiency with Ansible, Python, or similar scripting languages for network management.
