Description

Subject Matter Expert for network architecture, deployment, and product engineering in a Telecom ISP/Vendor environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with IP OEMs to prepare and modify Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
• Design L2 VPN and L3 VPN services including VPWS, VPLS, EVPN, IES, and VPWS.
• Manage testing of new network services alongside controllers and developers.
• Capture requirements from product managers to drive deployment and track bugs for development teams.
• Govern cross-functional calls and manage vendor SLAs.

Required Skills

• 5-6 years of relevant experience in Telecom ISP or Vendor environments.
• Hands-on experience with Nokia routers, specifically IXR and SR-2s series.
• Deep technical knowledge of Ethernet/MPLS technology (LDP, RSVP, Segment Routing, T-LDP, SR-OS, BGP).
• Proficiency in Network Deployment and Network Architecture planning.
• Working knowledge of Python scripting.
• Strong understanding of Service Delivery, Service Assurance, and Field Processes.
• Ability to test integration with OSS/BSS systems.

Preferred Skills

• CCNA or CCNP certification.
