Description

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert focusing on network architecture, product engineering, and deployment within a telecom environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with IP OEMs to prepare and modify Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
• Design and deploy L2/L3 VPN services including VPWS, VPLS, EVPN, IES, and VPNR.
• Handle testing of new network services alongside controllers and developers.
• Capture technical requirements from product managers and developers while tracking bugs and issues.
• Govern weekly and monthly cross-functional coordination calls.

Required Skills

• 5-6 years of relevant experience in the Telecom ISP or Vendor industry.
• Hands-on experience with Nokia routers, specifically IXR and SR-2s series.
• Deep understanding of Ethernet/MPLS technology including LDP, RSVP, Segment Routing, T-LDP, SR-OS, and BGP.
• Experience with L2 VPN and L3 VPN services design.
• Knowledge of Service Delivery, Service Assurance, and Field Processes.
• Ability to understand and test integration with OSS/BSS.
• Basic understanding of Python scripting.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with testing principles and procedures.

Preferred Skills

• CCNP or CCNA certifications.
