Description

You will design, administer, and troubleshoot WAN/LAN, enterprise wireless, and cloud infrastructure for the Sparks, NV site.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, enterprise wireless, and Azure cloud networking.
• Resolve Level 3 and advanced network issues to ensure complete resolution.
• Manage hardware and software upgrades for existing and new equipment.
• Investigate root causes of network incidents and implement solutions to reduce ticket resolution times.
• Mentor Level 1 and 2 engineers to improve team capability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering and administration.
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols including Cisco OSPF, BGP, and iWAN.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus, stack switches, and Cisco ACI.
• Proficiency with Cisco ASA/FP, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and Zscaler firewalls.
• Experience managing Cisco WLC, ISE, DNA Center, and Prime.
• Strong understanding of VPN and SD-WAN administration.
• Technical experience with Azure networking.
• Experience with MPLS and backbone network protocols.
• Ability to use SolarWinds, Panorama, and Infoblox.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) networking.
• Experience with Fortinet next-generation firewalls.
