Description

Manage enterprise-wide IP address management and DNS schema design. Own the technical translation of business requirements into network design documents.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage IP addressing schemas and DNS registration for large-scale enterprise networks.
  • Execute system migrations to new IP subnets, including supernetting, subnetting, and documentation updates.
  • Lead technical conversations with network engineers and application developers to define design requirements.
  • Manage InfoBlox administrative ownership for server deployment and enterprise DNS management.
  • Train engineering and operations teams on IP allocations, DNS changes, and task automation.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on IP Address Management.
  • Expert-level proficiency with InfoBlox software.
  • Hands-on experience with IPAM tools such as BlueCat or SolarWinds.
  • Deep knowledge of DNS management and schema creation.
  • Experience managing tens of thousands of IP addresses and DNS registrations.
  • Practical experience with network routers, switches, firewalls, and F5 GTM/LTM load balancers.
  • Proficiency with Python, Ansible, or similar automation and low-code solutions.
  • Experience with Akamai or CloudFlare.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience migrating large-scale systems through complex subnetting changes.
