Description

You will own network infrastructure reliability, performance optimization, and incident resolution for large-scale systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve network infrastructure reliability and performance.
• Identify incident patterns and drive problem resolution across the network.
• Respond to high-priority incidents, gathering forensic data and creating post-mortem documentation.
• Provide technical expertise for root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of service-interrupting incidents.
• Drive continuous service improvements by focusing on automation to manage scale and optimize tooling.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in networking technologies, focusing on large-scale, data-driven projects.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and packet sniffers.
• Working knowledge of BGP and OSPF.
• Experience configuring Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Load Balancers.
• Strong working experience with Cisco, Juniper, F5, and Arista platforms.
• Experience with Networking OS including EOS, IOS, IOS-XR, NXOS, JUNOS, and SONiC.
• Understanding of MPLS, L3 VPNs, VRFs, STP, HSRP, CDP, and UDLD.
• Ability to use existing procedures and tooling to safely implement network changes.
• Strong analytical skills to identify actionable incidents using monitoring systems.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
