Description

You will manage and support network infrastructure for the Transportation Operations Center in Staunton, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design and extend campus network connections and communications infrastructure.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain network hardware and related systems.
• Resolve Tier 1 support tickets, break/fix issues, and connectivity problems.
• Monitor network resources for faults, traffic anomalies, and security threats.
• Maintain architecture documentation, inventory records, and detailed change histories.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in network engineering or related fields.
• 8+ years of hands-on Cisco Routing and Switching.
• 8+ years configuring Routing Protocols including BGP and OSPF.
• 8+ years implementing Access Control Lists (ACLs).
• 10+ years of experience with Subnetting.
• 5+ years managing VLANs, STP, VTP, and Multicast.
• 5+ years configuring Authentication protocols (Radius, TACACS).
• 5+ years of Network Monitoring and VPN/Remote Access Technologies.
• 5+ years of DNS/DHCP administration and Network Design.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years with FMC/Firepower management.
• 8+ years in Network Security and threat hunting.
• 3+ years with Wireless Technologies.
