Description

Manage and support network infrastructure for the Transportation Operations Center.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Tier 1 support requests and user connectivity issues.
• Configure and deploy network hardware and communications infrastructure.
• Design network extensions and connections to the existing campus network.
• Monitor network resources for faults, traffic anomalies, and break/fix requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, architecture diagrams, inventory, and change histories.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience configuring and deploying network hardware.
• Practical knowledge of cybersecurity controls and defenses.
• Ability to troubleshoot communications infrastructure and connection issues.
• Experience maintaining technical architecture and inventory documentation.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to users of varying expertise levels.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate-level education.
