Description

You will provide Tier 1 enterprise IT technical support and maintain network infrastructure in a 24/7 environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving enterprise routers, switches, servers, firewalls, proxies, and caching arrays.
• Monitor network performance metrics and trends to identify anomalies or substandard performance.
• Operate network intrusion devices and information assurance tools.
• Escalate complex bandwidth, security, and system issues to Tier 2 and 3 engineers.
• Develop technical documents and deliver oral or written briefs to senior government leaders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or technical support.
• Hands-on experience with network switches.
• Experience configuring and managing firewalls.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise-level infrastructure including routers and servers.
• Ability to work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to resolve complex issues.
• Proficiency in technical writing and professional reporting.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience providing on-call support during after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
