Key Responsibilities

• Configure and install network devices and services including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and NAC
• Troubleshoot and resolve router, server, telephony, and LAN/WAN network issues
• Perform system upgrades and patching of network appliances
• Monitor network resources and maintain availability using tools such as PRTG, Gigamon, and Riverbed
• Implement and maintain device hardening standards in accordance with CIS or vendor best practices
• Assist in implementing security tools, policies, and procedures with the information security team
• Maintain accurate network diagrams and documentation
• Work with outside vendors to design and plan business continuity processes
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation including after-hours and weekend coverage
• Work on escalated Helpdesk tickets and assist in SLA management for vulnerability and patch management

Required Skills

• Proven hands-on LAN/WAN network administration and troubleshooting experience
• Strong understanding of routing and switching; Juniper and SDWAN experience a plus
• Knowledge of networking protocols: IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS
• Solid grasp of OSI and TCP/IP models
• Experience with VLAN technology, trunking, and spanning tree protocol
• Experience with Access Control Lists, Fortinet firewalls, and VPN technologies
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio or equivalent network diagramming tools
