Own LAN/WAN network operations, security, and automation to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LAN/WAN operations using Cisco IOS and Juniper Junos, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Lead root cause analysis for complex incidents using Wireshark and network management platforms to minimize downtime.
• Implement network policies and security protocols using firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto) and access controls.
• Drive process innovation through automation with Ansible and Python scripting to enhance operational efficiency.
• Mentor support teams and engage with clients to translate business needs into actionable network solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Advanced expertise in Cisco and Juniper devices and protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs).
• Strong command of monitoring tools including SolarWinds, Wireshark, and SNMP.
• Advanced knowledge of network security, including firewall configuration and VPN technologies.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and Python.
• Ability to develop detailed network documentation and performance dashboards.
