Description

Manage network configuration, installation, and commissioning across core, access, and distribution layers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Verify connectivity and configurations for newly activated network elements and connections.
• Push system configurations to equipment and turn up ports for upstream/downstream elements.
• Validate hardware components including shelves, cards, ports, and optics with field technicians.
• Manage software upgrades and establish out-of-band management for network elements.
• Coordinate with outside technicians to validate port states, light levels, and defect resolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in router and switch configurations and management.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French (mandatory).
• Proven experience with IGP and BGP protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Broadband Networking Gateway (BNG).
• Deep understanding of SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience managing change management processes and planned events.
• CCNP, JCIS, or JNCIP certification.
• Familiarity with Nokia 7750 SR/IXR platforms and optics.
• Familiarity with Juniper MX 960, MX 204, and 10003 platforms and optics.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper MX series hardware.
