Description

You will manage network security infrastructure and support large-scale LAN refresh projects within data centers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and administer Checkpoint, Juniper SRX, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, and network equipment based on technical specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues involving hardware, software, or configuration errors.
• Document all network configurations to ensure accuracy for troubleshooting and future reference.
• Support network users by resolving connectivity issues and providing resource assistance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on administration of Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls.
• Direct experience with Juniper SRX.
• Strong proficiency in Routing and Switching, specifically for LAN environments.
• Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 concepts.
• Deep knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Experience with network architectures including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
• Practical knowledge of security principles for firewalls and VPNs.
• Ability to use monitoring tools like SolarWinds.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cisco ACI Fabric, including automation and scripting.
• Knowledge of ISE NAC.
