Key Responsibilities:

• Collect current-state configurations from:
  • Panorama
  • PA-5220 Edge Firewalls
  • HA Pairs
  • VPN / GlobalProtect Components
• Review:
  • Routing
  • Interfaces
  • Zones
  • Virtual Routers
  • Multi-VSYS configurations
• Confirm PAN-OS alignment with Panorama.
• Establish migration strategy and rollback procedures.
• Develop cutover plans and validation checklists for each data center.
• Create Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Design target configuration for PA-5520 HA pairs.
• Define GlobalProtect and VPN service continuity plans.
• Support Site-to-Site VPN migration.
• Develop:
  • Product Acceptance Test Plans
  • Methods of Procedure (MOP)
• Build and stage target configurations.
• Perform configuration migration and consolidation.
• Validate:
  • GlobalProtect
  • Site-to-Site VPN
  • High Availability failover
• Ensure configuration parity after migration.

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of Palo Alto Firewall implementation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Palo Alto NGFW
  • Enterprise Routing & Switching
  • Firewalls
• Experience with:
  • Large-scale NGFW migrations
  • Low-Level Design (LLD)
  • Acceptance Test Plans
  • MOP documentation
• Strong experience with:
  • GlobalProtect
  • Site-to-Site VPN
