Description

You will own the migration and consolidation of Palo Alto firewalls, designing target configurations and executing cutover plans.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collect and audit current-state configurations for Panorama PA-5220 HA pairs, including VPN, GlobalProtect, routing, and Multi-VSYS.
• Design target configurations for PA-5520 HA pairs and define GlobalProtect and Site-to-Site VPN continuity plans.
• Develop Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation, migration strategies, rollback procedures, and validation checklists for each data center.
• Build and stage target configurations, then perform the actual migration and consolidation.
• Validate High Availability failover and ensure configuration parity after migration using Product Acceptance Test Plans and Methods of Procedure (MOP).

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto NGFW implementation and management.
• Strong expertise in Enterprise Routing & Switching and firewall architecture.
• Proven track record managing large-scale NGFW migrations.
• Deep knowledge of GlobalProtect and Site-to-Site VPN configurations.
• Ability to create comprehensive Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation and Methods of Procedure (MOP).
• Experience developing Product Acceptance Test Plans and validation checklists.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
