Description

You will manage complex performance products and drive end-to-end visibility across multiple domains. Your work focuses on reducing mean time to resolution and improving system performance through rigorous engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with application teams throughout the lifecycle to optimize system performance and resolution times.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.
• Collect and analyze network performance data for simulation modeling studies.
• Provide performance engineering expertise for simulation modeling projects.
• Monitor project progress and deliver regular status reports to management.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of related experience in network or performance engineering.
• Fundamental Linux knowledge and log file analysis.
• Deep understanding of HTTP protocol and network connections.
• Expertise in monitoring strategies including synthetic, real user, systems, and Java/.NET code.
• Broad understanding of performance best practices across applications, databases, and networks.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced degree.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry.
