Description

You will manage and optimize data, voice, LAN/WAN, and AV network environments, serving as the escalation resource for complex issues.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design tactical network solutions and lead small-to-medium technology implementations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex networking, hardware, and software issues.
• Verify the integrity of LAN/WAN, voice, and data networks while ensuring security and functionality.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software upgrades to meet capacity and business requirements.
• Mentor technical staff and provide expertise to functional departments on network applications.

Required Skills

• 8-15 years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with LAN/WAN networks.
• Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is required.
• Proven ability to analyze capacity requirements and implement network changes.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems in a production environment.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) or Cisco Certified Architect (CCA).
• Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certifications.
• BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
