Description

You will own the design and execution of global physical infrastructure capacity planning across POP, CLS, and ILA facilities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute global space and power planning and design for MV/LV spaces, cooling, and cabling.
• Manage facility sizing and consultation for utilities, switchgear, UPS/DC power plants, PDUs, and mechanical cooling.
• Develop multi-year proactive plans for space, power, and cooling requirements to meet forecasted demand.
• Deliver engineering design packages related to site infrastructure scope for sourcing and investment teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Center Planning and Design.
• Expertise in reading and analyzing electrical and mechanical single line diagrams.
• Deep technical knowledge of regional data center electrical and cooling configurations, IEC and NEMA standards, and AC/DC power.
• Hands-on experience with power system equipment including DC Power Plants, UPS, PDUs, and MV systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with optical network design, installation, and maintenance for service providers or enterprise networks.

Preferred Skills

• BS/BE in Electrical Engineering; MEP-focused PE or CE licensure.
• Experience with Bluebeam or BIM360.
