Description

Manage space, power, and cabling infrastructure for edge network deployments and POP sites.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan electrical and mechanical critical infrastructure for Data Center sites.
• Develop site floor plans to allocate space for network, optical, backbone, IP, and compute functions.
• Execute engineering design packages for new or existing edge/POP sites following ENS standards.
• Manage the site acceptance process for new POP sites and conduct site surveys.
• Coordinate tasks with vendors and suppliers to ensure project delivery.

Required Skills

• 7-8 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Outstanding proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoDesk tools.
• Knowledge of Telecom Central Offices, Data Centers, Collocations, and Remote Hut environments.
• Understanding of infrastructure architecture including space lineup, airflow, and cooling.
• Technical knowledge of regional Data Center electrical configurations, IEC, NEMAs standards, and AC/DC power redundancy.
• Understanding of optical network design, installation, and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of optical theory and transport technologies.
• Ability to travel 10% to 30% for site evaluations.

Preferred Skills

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Hands-on experience with power-related projects.
• Proficiency with BIM 360 and Blue Beam.
