Description

You will design, implement, and support large-scale network infrastructure and security solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto firewall solutions, including Panorama, GlobalProtect VPN, and Threat Prevention subscriptions.
• Monitor firewall logs, network traffic, and security events to detect and respond to incidents.
• Troubleshoot complex network security issues, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement network security policies, rules, and access controls.
• Provide L2 routing and switching support, including troubleshooting Sev 3 and 4 issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on experience deploying Cisco and Palo Alto devices.
• Proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama management.
• Experience administering Network Access Control solutions such as Cisco ISE and Cisco DUO.
• Direct experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst Series, and Arista switches.
• Deep understanding of OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, VRFs, Multicast, DMVPN, VxLAN, and BGP/EVPN.
• Knowledge of 802.1x and RADIUS protocols.
• Ability to escalate Sev 0-2 incidents to Senior Engineers or manufacturers.
