Description

You will design and manage complex network architectures across data center and route/switch environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex design recommendations for new features and applications to senior leadership teams.
• Manage data center networking using Cisco components including Nexus and UCS.
• Implement and maintain Layer 2 overlays such as VXLAN, OTV, and EVPN.
• Configure and optimize routing protocols including OSPF, ISIS, MBGP, IBGP, PBR, and BFD.
• Enforce Layer 2 and Layer 3 security using MACsec, ACLs, CoPP, DAI, and IP source guard.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco Routing & Switching and Data Center Switching platforms.
• Deep expertise in IP Routing, Internetworking, MPLS (L2/L3 VPN/VRF-Lite), and MPLS-TE.
• Hands-on experience with LAN Switching, Multicast (PIE, IGMP, RP, BSR), and Route Redistribution.
• Proficiency in OSPF, ISIS, MBGP, IBGP, PBR, and BFD.
• Technical knowledge of OTV, LISP, and VXLAN.
• Experience with traffic management including queuing, policing, and shaping.
• Familiarity with BGP, EIGRP, IPv6, IP SLAs, RPVST+, MST, and DMVPN.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with external fabric connectivity via L2/L3 connectivity.
