Description

Manage and maintain complex network infrastructure and security systems in Washington D.C.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage routing, switching, and BGP implementations.
• Administer firewalls, including port, protocol, and wide-area network management.
• Maintain IP telephony, load balancers, and storage systems.
• Build and maintain networks to comply with NIST and FISMA standards.
• Implement QoS initiatives to support video and voice communications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Routing and Switching.
• 5+ years of experience in Firewall maintenance and administration.
• 4+ years of experience with Load balancers.
• 3+ years of experience in IP Telephony and Cisco phone systems.
• 3+ years of experience with Linux or Windows OS.
• 3+ years of experience with MS networking and Active Directory design/migrations.
• 3+ years of experience in Virtualized environments and VMware.
• 3+ years of experience in Network and System Monitoring.
• 3+ years of experience with Scripting.
• 3+ years of experience with Storage systems.
• Knowledge of Cisco UCS and Wireless Network technology with management controllers.
• Understanding of communications and telecommunications circuits.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Group Policies within Microsoft Active Directory.
• Familiarity with NIST and FISMA compliance guidance.
