Description

Manage on-site network infrastructure, connectivity, and security for a client factory in Wilson, NC.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Resolve all connectivity issues and serve as the primary on-site network expert.
• Design logical and physical network layouts and create detailed diagrams.
• Develop patching schedules for wired and wireless equipment and monitor network capacity.
• Implement security policies on firewalls and ensure network segregation.
• Coordinate with central teams on local initiatives and manage vendor relationships.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Proficient in WAN, Wi-Fi, routing, switches, access points, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with CISCO equipment, cabling (fiber, UTP), and Palo Alto.
• Experience implementing network segmentation and security policies.
• Ability to create detailed network documentation and diagrams.
• Familiarity with application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• CCNA certification or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in cloud computing environments.
• Strong project management and team coordination skills.
