Description

You will manage the integration, lab validation, and production deployment of DOCSIS support systems for Project Comet (Comcast DAA).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support integration and deployment of DOCSIS systems, including DNS, DHCP, and Cable Modem Provisioning.
• Execute lab and trial validation for new technology integration.
• Manage metering platforms, firmware management systems, and Kubernetes OS environments.
• Perform system design, testing, and validation within a lab setting.
• Maintain and support production deployments of DOCSIS support infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience working with DOCSIS and Cable Modem supporting systems.
• Working knowledge of DNS and DHCP (for both CM and RPD).
• Experience with Cable Modem Provisioning systems such as PCP/PNR or BAC/CNR.
• Proven experience in new technology integration and introduction.
• Hands-on capability in lab-based design, testing, and validation.
• Deep understanding of DOCSIS and Cable Modem technologies.
