Description

You provide field support for LANs, WAN connections, and application performance troubleshooting, monitoring daily data network operations and resolving infrastructure issues.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day data network operations and provide technical assistance to end-users and infrastructure groups.
• Troubleshoot performance issues across the enterprise environment and resolve complex network problems.
• Plan, implement, and engineer network solutions using Cisco equipment without assistance.
• Recommend and assist with implementing complex upgrades and improvements to the data network.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and maintain comprehensive documentation using Visio.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of in-depth troubleshooting of practical networking systems including LAN, firewalls, routers, PCs, and printers.
• Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF, and EIGRP protocols.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate networks to identify issues and provide efficient solutions.
• Experience with Technical Support and Maintenance operations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service practices and Mentoring.
• Familiarity with CCNA concepts and Cisco equipment configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating comprehensive network documentation using Visio and related tools.
