You provide field support for LANs, WAN connections, and application performance troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the day-to-day operations of the data network within your defined scope.
- Provide technical assistance and resolve network problems for end-users and infrastructure groups.
- Recommend and assist with implementing complex upgrades and improvements to the data network.
- Troubleshoot performance issues across the enterprise environment.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2-4 years of in-depth troubleshooting of practical networking systems (LAN, firewalls, routers, PCs, Printers).
- Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate networks to identify issues and provide efficient solutions.
- Plan, implement, and engineer network solutions using Cisco equipment (intermediate to advanced complexity) without assistance.
- Experience with Technical Support and Maintenance operations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service practices.
- Familiarity with CCNA concepts.
- Experience in Mentoring.
- Ability to create comprehensive documentation using Visio and related tools.
