Description

You provide field support for LANs, WAN connections, and application performance troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the day-to-day operations of the data network within your defined scope.
  • Provide technical assistance and resolve network problems for end-users and infrastructure groups.
  • Recommend and assist with implementing complex upgrades and improvements to the data network.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues across the enterprise environment.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2-4 years of in-depth troubleshooting of practical networking systems (LAN, firewalls, routers, PCs, Printers).
  • Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate networks to identify issues and provide efficient solutions.
  • Plan, implement, and engineer network solutions using Cisco equipment (intermediate to advanced complexity) without assistance.
  • Experience with Technical Support and Maintenance operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service practices.
  • Familiarity with CCNA concepts.
  • Experience in Mentoring.
  • Ability to create comprehensive documentation using Visio and related tools.
