Network Field Technician

You will support data center operations through hands-on hardware deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, and un-rack servers, switches, and associated equipment.
• Run and manage Ethernet, power, and fiber cabling infrastructure.
• Replace disk drives and memory, and perform initial hardware troubleshooting.
• Conduct fiber work, including scoping, cleaning, and light meter testing.
• Process incoming and outgoing equipment, including RMA documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a data center environment.
• Proficiency in Ethernet, Power, and Fiber Cabling.
• Ability to lift 50–70 lbs and move equipment for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
• Basic hand tools and personal laptop/cell phone.
• Proficiency in English.
• Availability for daytime training (M–F, 8 am–5 pm) with flexibility for off-hours work.
