Description

You will design and maintain highly available network architectures while managing firewall security policies to meet business connectivity objectives and SLAs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop maintainable network architectures that meet connectivity objectives.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain network products, including firewall policy management and periodic compliance reviews.
• Manage firewall security products such as URL Filtering, Threat Prevention, SSL Decryption, DLP, and VPN.
• Monitor network performance and proactively address potential issues or connectivity troubleshooting.
• Automate network operations functions using scripting languages like Python and Ansible.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with network and firewall principles.
• 3+ years of experience with scripting or programming paradigms.
• Proficiency in Python and Ansible for network automation.
• Experience with Networking and Network Security.
• Knowledge of Cisco LAN and WAN technologies.
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Ability to work with PowerShell and REST APIs.
• Availability to perform tasks on a rotational callout basis outside normal business hours.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or an IT/IS related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Networking, Network Security, or IT Security.
• Advanced understanding of Zero Trust, Micro-Segmentation, and routing protocols.
