Role Overview
AT&T is seeking an experienced Network Implementation Engineer to join its Data Center team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in complex data center environments, with deep technical knowledge of Cisco and Arista networking, automation tools, and advanced routing protocols. This role requires a highly skilled engineer who can implement, troubleshoot, and optimize network solutions in both brownfield and greenfield deployments.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain complex data center network infrastructures.

Work with Cisco Nexus Fabric and Arista switches, leveraging Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP) for automation and management.

Configure and troubleshoot advanced protocols including VXLAN, BGP, EVPN, and OSPF.

Support both brownfield and greenfield network deployment environments.

Develop and maintain network automation scripts using Ansible (primary) and Python (secondary).

Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, testing, and documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable networking solutions.

Perform advanced troubleshooting to resolve complex network issues quickly.

Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in data center network engineering and implementation.

Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus Fabric and Arista switches.

Experience with Arista CVP for network automation and orchestration.

Proficient in VXLAN, BGP, EVPN, and OSPF protocols.

Working knowledge of Ansible for automation; familiarity with Python scripting.

Exposure to Linux/Unix, Cisco DNA Center, and Fortinet (preferred).

CCIE certification required.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
