Description

You will design, implement, and manage secure network infrastructure and routing solutions for large-scale enterprise environments. You provide day-to-day network engineering, operations support, and tactical input for network planning.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement security solutions for network infrastructure and existing systems.
• Interface with IT leadership to develop integrated network, systems, and security solutions.
• Develop compatible system infrastructures by applying engineering, hardware, and software design principles.
• Document network information, including switching/routing equipment, IP-addressable devices, and cabling interconnects.
• Audit existing environments by creating technical documentation where gaps exist.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing and troubleshooting routing and switching protocols in large enterprise networks (7000+ nodes).
• 8 years of experience configuring and managing switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls.
• 8 years of experience with Cisco IOS and Cisco Nexus operating systems.
• 8 years of experience with Network Monitoring/IPAM (e.g., SolarWinds, NetFlow) and physical communication troubleshooting.
• 8 years of experience with firewall design, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• 8 years of experience with WAN optimization using Riverbed and packet analysis via Wireshark.
• 5 years of experience with Python or Perl scripting.
• 5 years of experience with IPv6 and Cisco PRIME.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Active Cisco CCIE or CCNP certification.
• Cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network as a Service (NaaS).
