Description

You will design, maintain, and secure large-scale enterprise and government network environments, with a primary focus on Cisco ACI and modern networking fabrics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage Cisco ACI environments, including VRF, BD, EPG, L3Out, and contract definitions.
• Administer Cisco ISE for TACACS+ authentication and policy-based network access control.
• Integrate ACI with OpenShift VMM and manage container networking via Cilium/Isovalent.
• Monitor and optimize network performance using Thousand Eyes, Cyber Vision, and DNA Spaces.
• Create detailed network diagrams, documentation, and architectural artifacts for mission-critical systems.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco Networking and Cisco Systems products.
• Deep production experience with Cisco ACI constructs and policies.
• Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst platforms and SDA fabric technologies.
• Solid command of TCP/IP, routing, switching, QoS, and network security fundamentals.
• Experience with Python, Ansible, and REST APIs for network automation.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto networks and security tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco CCNP Data Center, CCNP Enterprise, or CCIE certification.
• Knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience supporting State Government environments.
